TRAFFIC OPERATION IN YOUR AREA

Today the Farnworth neighbourhood team carried out a traffic operation in Highfield on Highfield Road junction with Plodder Lane. We focussed on targeting driving offences and keeping the roads safe for the community. We were able to obtain some successful results as follows:

65 vehicles were stopped

5 x traffic offence reports for using mobile phone while driving

5 x traffic offence reports for driving without a seatbelt

1 x traffic offence report for driving with no insurance

1 x traffic offence report for driving without a driving license

2 x vehicles were seized for no insurance

1 x arrest for drug driving offences
